THE LEVEL UP LETTER
Hi All!
Here’s your weekly Level Up Letter. This week we’re diving into the importance of the right people and working on your most important thing.
Let us know what you think and feel free to forward along if your heart desires. Hope you enjoy and have a fantastic weekend!
QUOTE OF THE WEEK

PEOPLE. Process. Technology.
IN THAT ORDER
We say this time and time again with our consulting clients. To the point where they’re probably sick of hearing it. It’s not a mantra we just say but a system we truly believe in.
In today’s day and age it’s easy to jump to the newest app, AI bot, SaaS platform or CRM thinking that it will make things better, you’ll move faster, and more things will be automated. In reality, you’re probably just distracting yourself from doing the actual work that needs to get done.
We’ve seen countless people wanting to get into real estate that spend all their time getting their website up or business cards made while neglecting the single most important part of real estate….getting a deal! (and talking to PEOPLE)
Wherever you’re at in your business you need to look at PEOPLE first. Who is on your team? What are they responsible for? Are they an A Player? Getting this right is one of the most difficult parts of business but when you have that single right person doing what they do best, the difference is night and day.
A Players know what needs to get done and make it their highest priority.
DEFINE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING
Most of us can get lost in all the things we need to get done each day. We’re building to-do lists on top of to-do lists but this week we’re going to challenge you to define, and focus on, the single most important thing you NEED to do. That could be showing up for your partner, that could be focusing on revenue, it could be your physical health. Whatever that single most important thing is for you, we challenge you to devote the time to it. | ![]() |
Make sure you’re devoting your time to work that moves the needle. This isn’t time researching “the best workout.” - Do A Workout. This isn’t getting business cards printed. It’s reaching out to potential customers.
Put it in the calendar, wake up just a bit earlier, put the phone away, find a quiet place, set a timer. Even if it’s just 15 minutes a day, put the focus in now and the results will follow.
WHO
Hiring people is hard. Getting good at hiring A Players is priceless. Having a framework and systems in place to get the best talent and the handle interview processes is key to getting the best people on board. No matter what role you’re looking to hire for, we highly suggest giving this book a read. It was actually originally introduced to us from BBM Member, Kyle Robarge, when his company was scaling up.
